Salango is a community on the Pacific coast. The community manage an archaeological museum an small colonial museum and a hostal right in front of the beach. There is a small island right in front of the village, were Pelicans and Blue foot Boobies are living. Every year the Humpback whales live for 3 month in the sea in front of the village.

Experience ancient coastal culture and wildlife
Discover 5,000 years of history on this adventure to Salango. You will stay in traditional cabins and sample the food and culture of the area. Visit the archaeological museum in town which has over 250 treasures from the past on display, as well as the historic ranch house which demonstrates how life has changed here over the last 100 years. You will also tour the local farms and see how they are using greenhouses to grow crops. Your next adventure will be a tour of the island's coast. Here you can watch the remarkable blue-footed boobies and frigate birds, among many other species. Snorkel above the delightful coral reef, and visit the beautiful beach where you can relax and unwind. You can also enjoy a range of hikes, including up to the lookout point on the top of Snail Hill and to the Rio Chico, meals cooked with local produce in the traditional way, as well as try a range of crafts and handiwork."
